Born in NYC and raised in New Jersey, Alex Phillips began her career in film and television after graduating from The College of William and Mary. After volunteering at film festivals across the country she worked her way up through the TV Literary Department at The Gersh Agency, served as the Writers' Assistant and then Showrunner's Assistant on Dick Wolf's Chicago Fire (NBC) and as the Showrunner’s Assistant on season two of The Chi (Showtime) before landing at Hillman Grad Productions as the Creative Executive.
As a Creative Executive, Alex helps to oversee all development for features and television, and meets with up and coming writers, directors, and actors for potential projects. She has a particular interest in science fiction, superheroes, adventure and fantasy, and she is excited to use her platform to elevate diverse voices within those genres.
