Black Women's Maternal Health

Every day 2-3 women die in the US from pregnancy related complications.

While life-threatening complications can affect anyone, black women are at the greatest risk.

And, in the past 30 years, the number of women dying from these complications has more than doubled.

Over half of these deaths are preventable.
